Overview
SAS is provided for all Missouri State University students and faculty who are conducting non-profit (non-commercial), academic studies and/or research. To obtain SAS, complete the Request Service form which indicates that you have agreed to these terms and conditions laid out by SAS in the Terms Summary below:
Terms Summary
When you access Missouri State University's SAS download, you agree to the following SAS and Academic Home User Amendment Terms of Service.
- SAS is provided for Academic Use or Non-Commercial Research only.
- Academic Use is defined as for classroom instruction and coursework that is directly related to degree requirements and is non-commercial.
- Non-Commercial Research is defined as being in support of a Missouri State University degree-granting requirements or a faculty member's tenure, research that is federally funded in support of academia, and is in fulfillment of or funded by a Missouri State University-related program or initiative.
- Faculty and students can install SAS on university owned or personally owned computers.
- The license only allows the SAS software to be outside the United States for up to three months during the annual license period. This applies to both university owned computers and personally owned computers.
- Missouri State University must track where SAS is being used and how it is being used. Missouri State University must track who has installed SAS on their personal computers.
Eligibility
All Missouri State students and faculty are able to request this service.
Cost
There is no charge to request or use this service.
