Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within Blackboard. When students use Respondus LockDown Browser they are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications. When an assessment is started, students are locked into it until they submit the assessment for grading.
Please Note: To further protect the integrity of non-proctored, online exams, faculty may want to utilize Using Respondus Monitor Option with the Lockdown Browser, which is a companion product to Respondus LockDown Browser that use the student's computer and webcam to record assessment sessions.
