Which Network to Use:

       MSU: Faculty, staff, and students.
MSU Sponsored: Departmental guest access (must get key from your sponsoring department).

Connect to the MSU Open Wi-Fi Network

The MSU Open network is available for all university visitors, but is mainly targeted at prospective new students and their families. MSU Open is available in the Meyer Library, Plaster Student Union, and the Welcome Center. The password (pre-shared key) is public, and changes infrequently. You can access the Internet and limited MSU resources using this network.

  1. Navigate to your device's Wi-Fi or Network settings menu. There are guides for each type of popular device available for your reference.
  2. Select MSU Open.
  3. Enter the Current Pre-Shared Key: Welcome2MSU
