iGrade Instructor Evaluations

This instructor evaluation system has been developed jointly by SGA and Faculty Senate, in part, to comply with Missouri state law. The results of these instructor evaluations will have value if a large percentage of students participate each semester.
 

To submit evaluations:

• SGA iGrade Instructor Evaluation links for classes will be displayed at the top in Brightspace.
   

To view evaluations:

• Instructors can view SGA iGrade Instructor Evaluation results through the Instructor Ratings link located on the My Missouri State "Surveys and Evaluations" card. 
   

This does NOT replace evaluations conducted by University departments.

The members of SGA developed the list of evaluation questions desired and these questions were reviewed, revised, and then approved by the members of the Faculty Senate.

Details:

• Only full semester and block classes for fall and spring semesters can be evaluated
• Classes that have 10 or more students enrolled will have surveys sent to students registered for that class
• Classes with 10 or more evaluations submitted will have evaluation results available for viewing
• Evaluations are submitted via the PIN protected My Student Information system which ensures that students are enrolled in classes to be evaluated and that only one evaluation per class is submitted.
