This guide explains how to configure reporting access, benchmark settings, and Mean of Means settings in Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys projects.
Configuring Reporting & Benchmark Settings
NOTE: Report and benchmark settings are typically configured by department or college administrators.
- Log in to Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys and select Surveys & Projects.
- Choose Projects, then locate the project you need to configure.
- Click on the project name to open it.
- Select Report Setup tab.
Reporting Access
- Under Reporting Access, select:
- Allow Administrators to view reports for their area
- Allow Instructors to view reports for their courses
- Enter Access Start dates for administrators and instructors. These can be different dates.
- Select Keep Open for Access End.
- Check Include results from CES Administrator questions for both administrators and instructors.
Benchmark Data
For all survey types:
- Under Aggregate Data at Account Level, select 3.
- Enter Department in the Label box.
- Click Save.
For projects using a single college-wide course survey:
- Under Aggregate Data at Account Level, select 2.
- Enter College in the Label box.
- Click Save.
NOTE: University-level benchmarks are used for university-wide surveys and not required here.
Mean of Means
- Under Mean of Means, enter Mean of Means in the Label box.
- In the Question drop-down menu, select Question, then check all questions.
- Select Include Benchmarks.
- Click Save.
IMPORTANT: You must complete the Mean of Means setup after the survey has been added to the project.
