How to Connect to Streeme TV on RoKu/Amazon Fire TV

As a student living in one of our residence halls, you can stream TV on your phone, tablet, computer, or TV by way of Roku/Amazon Fire devices. This guide demonstrates how to access Streeme TV on your RoKu/Amazon Fire devices.

Please Note: To utilize these services, you must have an active housing contract and be located physically on campus.

Step-by-Step Guide

On a RoKu

  1. You can watch TV by way of RoKu device. We recommend RoKu Ultra, which is Ethernet capable. The wireless RoKu option will work, and you would connect it to the MSU HomeDevice network. Please see instructions on MSU Home Device Registration.
  2. On a computer or phone, go to my.roku.com/account/add?channel=streeme.tv and login to your RoKu account. If you do not have a RoKu account, please create one now.
  3. Click Add Channel.
  4. On RoKu, go to Settings > System > System Update > Check Now and allow the Roku to update all applications and channels.
  5. Streeme TV should now be installed.
  6. Open Streeme TV app and login with your Missouri State Account (eg. resnet123@login.missouristate.edu) and password.
  7. You are now logged in to watch TV.

On an Amazon Fire TV

  1. On your home screen, go to Search and type Streeme.TV
  2. Select Streeme TV and select Download
  3. Select Open
  4. Open Streeme TV app and login with your Missouri State Account (eg. resnet123@login.missouristate.edu) and password.
  5. You are now logged in to watch TV.
