How to Optimize Photos for Using Photoshop CC

  1. Crop the photo to the specified dimensions.
  2. Select File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy).
  3. Select JPEG High from the Preset dropdown.
    Missing preset
    If you do not have the default "JPEG High" preset, you can recreate it using these settings:
    • Optimized file format: JPEG
    • Compression quality: High
    • Quality: 60
    • Optimized: Checked
    • Leave all of the other Preset values as either "unchecked" or "0".
  4. Select Save.
  5. Input the desired filename.
  6. Select Save to finish.
