Faculty/Staff Zoom Account Request and Setup

How to Request Your Zoom Account:

  1. Complete the Zoom Account Request Form. Please be sure to choose the account type (basic or licensed) that meets your need. We are prioritizing licenses for teaching use at this time.
  2. You will receive an email from no-reply@zoom.us with the subject Zoom Account Invitation
Please Note: Check your junk/spam folders if you don't see your invitation.

How to Activate Your Zoom Account:

You will receive an email from Zoom stating an account was created on your behalf.

  1. Click Activate Your Zoom Account, or copy and paste the provided link into your browser.

  1. A tab will open in your default web browser. Click Sign Up with Password.
  2. Create your account by filling in your name, your school email, your password, and your password confirmation.
  3. Click Continue.

You have successfully activated your Zoom account. From here, you can download the desktop client.

Please Note: If you have previously had a non-Missouri State issued Zoom account, you will instead receive a request to join the Missouri State University Zoom account in order to accept your license.
