How to Access Cybersecurity Awareness Training

Use the following steps to access and complete the Cybersecurity Awareness Training course in My Learning Connection.

Note: All employees are required to complete this training upon new hire, and again each October. This training is automatically assigned and should be listed in your My Learning Connection Transcript.

How to Access Cybersecurity Awareness Training

1. Log into my.missouristate.edu.
   • Locate the Learning and Development card.
     • To locate the Learning and Development card, click the Menu icon (to the right of the Missouri State logo).
       • Click on All Cards from the menu.
         • Enter “Learning and Development” in the search box.
         • The Learning and Development card will be displayed.
       • We recommend that you save the card to your My.MissouriState.edu page by clicking the bookmark icon (at the top right of the card).

2. Click the My Learning Connection link.
3. From the My Learning Connection Welcome page, click the Compliance Training widget.

4. In your Transcript, select All from the Filter by Training Status drop down list. Then, if the training is listed in your transcript and not already completed, click the Launch button to the right of Cybersecurity Awareness Training, skip to #8. If it is not listed, continue to #5.
5. If Cybersecurity Awareness Training is not listed under the ALL status filter in your Transcript, go to the My Learning Connection Welcome Page and click the Compliance Training icon.
6. Find and click Cybersecurity Awareness Training.
   
7. Click Request and/or Launch (if you have not already been registered, the Request button appears and you will then need to click Launch afterward).
   
8. After launching the training, click on one of the three training module links to watch the training video.
9. When you finish watching the video, click the Complete Lesson button to return to the list.
10. A green check mark shows which modules you have completed. Click another module and watch the video. Repeat until all three (3) modules are completed.
11. When all three (3) modules are completed, your completion status will be tracked automatically in your Transcript. You can view your transcript by selecting View Your Transcript from the Learning menu.
