Adding a Social Media Navigation

If your pages had social platform links pre-migration, you will have them post-migration. If you need them added to your site, reach out to the Web Help Desk via or 417-836-5271.

Once your social platform links are established, you may edit them. They may be linked to your department / college specific social media channels. 

This area, within the side navigation, is not directly editable from your page but can be found by navigating to your _social-platforms-links.pcf file.

Step-by-Step Guide

To edit your social platform links:

  1. Go to Content > Pages > _social-platform-links.pcf with your site folder.
  2. Open the _social-platform-links.pcf file. Click on the Sidebar Social Platform Links button.
  3. Edit your links using the WYSIWYG toolbar.
  4. Highlight the link to be changed > click on your insert/edit link tool .
  5. Paste the URL to your social media account.
  6. Click Save.

Note: Make Your Missouri Statement links, if present within your side navigation, are not editable.
