Each Residence Hall front desk has a black and white printer for residence hall residents to use. Students can connect to these printers from their residence hall computer labs or from their personal computers. This guide will show how to connect to the Residence Life print server and connect to the desired printer on your personal computer.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to your Start Menu and type Run. You can also press WINDOWS + R at the same time to open the Run window.
  2. Type \\resprint in the Run box and click OK.

  3. If this is your first time connecting to the server, you will be asked to sign in. In the network credentials window, type your username as MissouriStateAccountID@sgf and Password into the respective boxes, then click OK. If you wish to have your username and password saved, check Remember my credentials.

  4. A list of printers will be displayed. Locate your buildings front desk printer. Right-click on the desired printer and click Connect.


     
  5. Your computer will now start automatically connecting to the printer. This process must be repeated each time you change your Missouri State password.
