How to Change Your Password in Respondus Exam Author

When you change your BearPass Password, you will need to update your settings in Exam Author. You'll get a gentle reminder in the form of an error message when you try to use the Exam Author after changing your password.

How to change your password in Respondus Exam Author

1. Click on the Preview & Publish tab, and select Publish from the left menu pane.
   
    
2. Click Publish Wizard.
   
    
3. From the Choose Server pull-down, select Add New Server.
4. Select No, I want to enter the server settings manually.
   
    
5. Follow the directions on the menu:
   
   1. Enter the URL address of your course
   2. Enter the URL address of MSU Bb log in page
       
6. Enter a name for the server in the Server Name box (you can use any name).
7. Press the Extract button  – this will populate the required network information.
   
    
8. Respondus populates the User name and Password, but the Password must be re-typed, since it populates the “old” stored password.
9. Select the Remember my User Name and Password box.
10. Click OK.
