How to Add SCORM and Other Content Packages

  1. Open Blackboard
  2. Under the courses tab select the course you want
  3. If you already have SCORM Engine enabled in Blackboard, skip to step 7. To see if SCORM is available in content areas, scroll to the bottom of the page and on the left side find Control Panel. Click on Customization to expand it.
    Click on Customization from the Course Management menu.
     
  4. Click Tool Availability.
    Click on the arrow next to Customization to expand the menu and select Tool Availability.

     
  5. Scroll down to Content Package (SCORM) and make sure the box is check marked.
    Click the Checkbox next to Content Package to make it available in the course.
     
  6. Click Submit  at the bottom of right corner of the page
  7. Now to access Content Package (SCORM), navigate to a course content area.
    Click the content link in the course menu to select an area for the package to be uploaded.
     
  8. On the action bar, point to Build Content and click Content Package (SCORM) 
    Select Content Pacage from the Build Content action list.

     
  9. On the Add Content Package page, attach a file that conforms to the required standards. Click Browse My Computer to upload a file from your computer. You can also upload a file from the course's storage repository:
    • If Course Files is the course's storage repository, click Browse Course.
      -OR-
    • If your institution licenses content management, click Browse Content Collection.
  10. Upload the content you want and then click submit.
