How to Add Content Collection Items to a Course

1. In your course, open a content area (such as Course Documents).
2. Point to Build Content in the menu and select Item.
   
    
3. Enter the link's name and type a description in the Text field.
4. Click Browse Content Collection.
   
    
5. Find the file you wish to add in your Course Content folder, or point to Browse to navigate to other folders in the Content Collection.
   
    
6. Select the check box next to the item(s) you wish to add and click Submit.
7. Make sure Permit Users to View This Content is set to Yes.
8. Track the number of views and set date and time restrictions if you so choose.
9. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.

Your content should now appear in the content area.

How to Add Content Collection Items to a Course using the Content Editor

1. In your course, open a content area (such as Course Documents).
2. Point to Build Content in the menu and select Item.
   
    
3. Enter a name for the item.
4. From the Content Editor menu click on the "+".
   
    
5. Select Insert from Content Collection.
   
    
6. Find the file you wish to add in your Course Content folder, or point to Browse to navigate to other folders in the Content Collection.
   
    
7. Select the check box next to the item(s) you wish to add and click Submit.
8. Enter any additional text or attach additional files and click Submit.
   
    
9. A link to your content should now appear in the content area.
