How to Get your Activation Code

Please Note: This information only applies to accounts created on or after December 11, 2019.

Before you can activate your Missouri State account, you will need an Activation Code to complete the process. Typically, the Activation Code is sent to you in your admissions packet, new-hire information, or via email but if you don't have your Activation Code you can look it up or request a new one. 

Step-by-Step Guide

How to Request Your Activation Code via Email

  1. Navigate to the Account Management page.

  2. Select the option to Activate a new account or the link Activate Account from the left menu.

  3. Enter your BearPass Number (M#) and then select the checkbox next to I don't know my Activation Code.

  4. Click Submit. The Activation Code will be sent to the email address we have on file for you. If you don't have an email address on file or you don't recognize the email address listed, contact the office listed on this page. (The image below is an example showing where to look for the email address the code was sent to and which department to call. You will see different contact information depending on your status and department).

How to Request a New Activation Code

If you are unable to request your Activation Code via email in the steps above, you have the following options:

  1. If you are a student, contact the department who admitted you. This information should be listed in your admission packet but will also be listed if you go through the steps above (shown in Step 4).

  2. If you are an employee, contact Human Resources at 417-836-5102 or HumanResources@MissouriState.edu.

  3. If you are unsure who to contact, contact the Help Desk for assistance at 417-836-5891 or HelpDesk@MissouriState.edu
