Troubleshooting Test Taking on a Mac

Problem

I am using Chrome and am not able to take the test.
 

Solution
  1. Click the Chrome menu and then click Preferences...
    Select preferences from the Chrome browser.
     
  2. Click Search Engine from the navigation menu on the left.
    Select Search engine from the navigation menu on the left.
     
  3. Show advanced settings > Appearance...
    Click on advanced settings and navigate to appearance.
     
  4. Click Customize fonts...
    Select customize fonts.
     
  5. Scroll down until you see Minimum font size and then move slider to the middle to choose 14.
    Set the minimum font size to 14.


Problem

I am using Firefox and am not able to take the test.

Solution
  • Click the Firefox menu and then click Preferences...
    From the browser menu select Preferences.
     
  • Chose the General tab and then the Advanced... button in Fonts & Colors.
    From the General menu refer to Language and Appearance.
     
  • Change minimum font size to 14.

Problem

I am using Safari and am not able to take the test.

Solution
  • Click the Safari menu and then click Preferences...
    Select Preferences from the browser menu.
     
  • Choose the Advanced tab.
    Select Advanced from the navigation menu.
     
  • Check the box for "Never use font sizes smaller than" and then choose 14.
    Navigate to Accessibility and check the box to never use font sizes smaller than 14.
