Tagging questions will help you find questions later. The more tags you add to a question, the easier it will be to find the question if you need to reuse it.

How to Tag Questions for Reuse
 

To allow metadata for questions

1. On the Control Panel, click Course Tools, and then click Tests, Surveys, and Pools.
   
    
2. Click Tests.
3. Click the Contextual Menu on the test you want to edit, and then click Edit.
   
    
4. Click Question Settings.
   
    
5. On the Test Question Settings page, under Question Metadata select Add categories, topics, levels of difficulty, keywords and instructor notes to questions, and then click Submit. 
   
    

To edit an existing question

1. On the Test Canvas page, click to open the Contextual Menu next to the question you wish to edit, and then click Edit. 
   
    
2. On the question page, scroll to the Categories and Keywords section, select one or more options and add information to the question.
3. Click Add next to the type of metadata you wish to add, type the information, and then click OK. 
   
    
4. When you are finished, click OK.
