How to Set Up Office 365 Education Email on Outlook for Mac Desktop

Use this guide to set up your Office 365 Education account on Outlook 2016 for Mac computer.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. lick the Launchpad icon in the dock.

  2. Find and click on the Outlook icon.

  3. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Outlook > Preferences.

  4. Click Accounts.

  5. Click the plus sign at the bottom left of the menu and select New Account.

  6. Enter your Missouri State email address and click Continue. You will then see the connecting to Office365 pop-up window.

  7. Enter your exchange account information:
    1. Username: BearPassLogin@MissouriState.edu (abc123@MissouriState.edu for faculty/staff abc123@live.missouristate.edu for students
    2. Password: Bearpass Password
    3. Sign In
      Enter your Missouri State University account information.
       
  8. You will see a success message that your account has been added. Click Done to proceed.

  9. Change the account description to MSU or the description of your choice if desired.
