How to Log In to Your Office 365 Account (Email and Office Applications)

The below guide will show you how to log in to your Missouri State Office 365 account.

Step-by-Step Guide

Navigate to https://Portal.Office.com.
Enter your Office 365 username and click Next. Do not enter your email address. Your username is your BearPass Login followed by your account domain. Examples below:
- For Accounts Created After December 11, 2019:
  - Faculty/Staff: abc123e@login.missouristate.edu
  - Students: abc123s@login.missouristate.edu
- For Accounts Created Before December 11, 2019:
  - Faculty/Staff: abc123@MissouriState.edu
  - Students: abc123@Live.MissouriState.edu
Once you enter your username, the page will automatically re-direct you to the Missouri State University e-mail server. Enter your BearPass password. This is the same password you use to log in to My Missouri State, Blackboard, and campus computers.
Click Sign in.
If your account uses multi-factor authentication, you will be prompted to verify your login after clicking the Sign in button. See How to Set Up Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for more information.
You will be asked if you want to stay signed in on this device. Only select Yes if you are using a device that you own and no one else uses.
On the main Office 365 home page, you can click the Outlook icon to access your e-mail.
