How to Change the Course Menu Colors

The default color scheme for the Course Menu is a dark gray background with white text. If desired, this color scheme can be changed.

Step-by-Step Guide

How to Change the Course Menu Colors

  1. On the Course Management menu, select the Customization menu.
  2. Select the Teaching Style link.

  3. Scroll to the middle of the page to find the Select Menu Style area. 
    Course menus and text colors can be customized in the Teaching Style section of Customization.
     
  4. Click the drop-down area next to the color box to select a new Background Color.
    Color box allows provides a swatch of different colors to help with your selection.
     
  5. You can then do the same step for the Text Color.
  6. Check to make sure the Course Menu is readable and appears the way you want it to. Then click Submit.
Please Note: Though the Buttons option is listed on the Style menu, Text is the only option for the Course Menu. Selecting Buttons will not change the Course Menu. If your Course Menu has subheaders they will remain white no matter the color selected for the Course Menu text.
